Tool 
LCA@CPM was developed by the research group Industrial Environmental Informatics at Chalmers University of Technology. 

Purpose 
The LCA@CPM is a web based life cycle assessment (LCA) tool supporting LCA practitioners at companies and organizations to work according to the ISO 14040 framework in a transparent way. It is a tool for managing all information needed when working with LCA, based on the ISO 14040 series framework and the ISO/TS 14048 data documentation format. The tool is also suitable for product declaration according to ISO 14025. The work is performed in projects in order to allow members in e.g. different organizations, countries, etc. to participate in different LCA projects and enable an efficient and secure handling and sharing of data.

Use 
LCA@CPM supports transparent documentation of the study to be generated simultaneously as the study is performed. The transparency facilitates reuse of data and understanding of the results from a study. The software was recently released and is hence not bug free but it is continuosly being improved. The tool is built on the basis of formats, methods and tools such as SPINE , IA98 , EPS 2000 and WWLCAW . The user already acquainted with these will find it easy to use also LCA@CPM.

Evaluation 
The tool is being developed but it looks promising.
