 In order to communicate the environmental performance both to internal decision
makers and external stakeholders Akzo Nobel Surface Chemistry, Cellulosic
Specialties in Örnsköldsvik has developed a set of performance indicators for
transportation of goods and personnel. Three indicators were selected: means of
transport used, energy consumption by the transport, and carbon dioxide
emissions.
