Recycling description
Recycling descriptions or scrapping
instructions describes how a product can be dismantled into different
components, how the different components should be handled and how materials in
the components can be recycled.  The
aim for this description/instruction is to facilitate an environmentally sound
dismantling, handling, scrapping and recycling of the product, components and
its materials.
These instructions could
preferably be combined with a material
declaration, since when deciding on how to recycle one needs knowledge
of the materials present in the product.
