Information related to environmental performance of products and services have to be communicated to relevant stakeholders to achieve competitive advantages on the market. One important aim is to assist customers in purchasing environmentally sound products and services and to guide them in how to use the product and how to dispose the product in a safe way. Examples of common used communication tools are environmental labeling, like the ISO 14025/TR based Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), Recycling description   for mechanical products or Safety Data Sheets ( SDS) for chemical products.
