The BASF Eco-Efficiency Analysis method - applied on environmental impact data from an LCA study of two colorants.

The BASF Eco-Efficiency Analysis method is not an alternative to a standard LCA study but rather an extension of it. The method comprises use of environmental impact data and cost data to calculate eco-efficiency. Eco-efficiency is defined as the ratio of economic creation to ecological destruction from the perspective of the end consumer.

The BASF Eco-Efficiency Analysis method has been applied on the data from the eLCC and LCA study on two colorants.
